anyone who thinks the film is anti men literally didn’t watch the film

entertaining and fun while carrying a very important message, but at the same time its presentation doesn’t really do it for me. it comes off like a made for tv movie that lacks any type of subtlety. the themes themselves are great, but I wish the film was done a bit better. I dig maximalist films, but this came across as a bit plastic-y and shallow

also the soundtrack in this is killer

I love Dolly cuz ofc but everything else was aggravating, especially stallone. he acts like a major idiot throughout the film and whenever he’s on screen, I keep thinking of that in living color sketch and I can’t take him seriously. just a very plain 80s comedy

The first two acts were great, but I felt the third act didn’t captivate me as much as the first two did. Besides that, the film is very original and looks gorgeous, plus Willem and Robert are amazing.
