This film broke me. I really didn't know what it was going to be about aside from the "Casey Affleck takes on his brother's kid" short plot summary. I did watch th ailer and I should have realized that it was very misleading. It's oh so, so very sad. There's humor, but all of it is clouded in somberness. And it's well deserved. There's a sequence somewhere in the last section of the first act that I did not see…

I was enjoying this for the first few episodes. The acting is superb, and the build up to the story is very well done. However, the final episode, in which the truth will be revealed, is such a let down. It honestly ruined the entire series for me. Since the "flashbacks" are never defined as a memory from a specific person, but Catherine is the only living person, I thought that they were Catherine's memories. And those seemed to align…
