This exactly the kind of horror I love: an atmospheric, folk, religious, satanic, slow burn. I was so pleasantly surprised it didn’t turn out to be the hagspoitation movie i expected it to be based on the premise and trailer. My only note is that the scares could have been either scarier or more revolting. Otherwise it was perfect.

This is what I want from new movies. Exactly this. Make 100 more of these. It's short, the cinematography is GORGEOUS, it's funny, it's murdery, it's got beautiful rich people and their stuff, it's got sociopathy, it's got a weird, off-putting techno theme song, and it's got chapters like a book!

It's ok for dark, artistic movies to be fun. They don't all have to be a slog.

It’s going to be hard to top this movie this year. It’s a filthy, hilarious, gorgeous, feminist, sumptuous, disgusting, wicked, unhinged magical realist Frankenstein story.
