Horribly cute and weirdly horror!

I was hooked when I read the plot and I wanted to know what's in it.

It had this breezy sitcom type humours and romance which has corny love. If you are a sucker for cheesy corny romance, the plot might actually make you go "Chaaaa! Innaa love uh raaa!". Nevertheless, it would be a good one time watch entertainer.

The makers finally decided to write something interesting after 1.15 hours, that too is not impressive much. I feel like 'Train to Busan' and Prithviraj's 'Kuruthi' kinda Survival thrillers were more intriguing and engaging. They might not be the best, but they stayed true to their genre and keeps you hooked.

I liked the way they dealt with Racism but it would've been so damn good if it had been the main course like 'Django Unchained' and not as an add on pickle.

The cheap jump scare tricks and awful fake blood scenes felt amateur and kinda ruined the experience.

As a huge fan of the 'Final Destination' Saga, I obviously loved the plot of 'Chasing the Bloodlines'.

It differentiates itself from the other parts by its logic and a whole new sub plotline by answering the question "What's New?"

The makers have concentrated on gruesome and gore rather than concentrating on creative deaths. The horrors of the previous parts which traumatized us is because of the 'Probability of happening'. Be it the log truck scene, the roller coaster scene or the laser scene, every scene will flash before our eyes when we do something related to the activity.

In bloodlines, they have used advanced VFX as well as SFX to make it more violent. However, it just kills the authenticity and makes it look artificial and forced. We wouldn't be scared of the things shown in this movie since it is highly improbable and unlikely which wouldn't be the case in the previous parts.

However, at least for a few minutes after completion, the film leaves you with the effect where you get paranoid assuming a Domino Effect for every minor inconvenience. So yeah, probably they have won in that aspect and we have to give it to them.

A typical Sundar C film where you will ignore Logic, Regressiveness and bullshit. You might as well ignore Humour this time.

We have a sequence of sexist and R*pe jokes in pre-climax where the audience apparently applauded as peak comedy. Sundar C cannot get away with these anymore like he got Away with Madhagajaraja.

Samuel L Jackson in a Quentin Tarantino flick is a Vibeeee!

Kinda Minimalistic movie la yum making la compromise pannaama work panneerukaanga like every other QT film.

They really took their time in the first hour and slowly grab your attention in the next hour and keep you hooked in the subsequent 45 minutes.

Dialogues and Bloodshed are as usual impressive. The racism, misogny and every other regressive element represents the reality of the respective era. And in the end, we could see that misogyny overrules racism.
