i wish i could have liked this more…i always want to root for our AMC queen but this film was honestly hard to get through and the payoff wasn’t completely worth it, it was fun and i definitely think it’s a good watch for a rainy day with your friends but aside from that it’s predictable, doesn’t fully follow through with the campy dutch horror vibe it was trying to pull so hard at in the trailer.
genuinely such a refreshing film…every performance was spectacular, pacing was amazing and the film didn’t feel like it was dragging in its 2 and 1/2 hour runtime. at times the overall themes and certain characters could feel heavy handed in the metaphor they were trying to convey. would definitely watch again. oh also the comedic timing of all characters was amazing, truly such a great overall film!
