Loved it the first time, loved it the second, and will love it the hundredth, the thousandth, in this life and the next. Oscar-winning, pure cinema—a spectacle, a sensation, a fever dream of beauty and brilliance.
A masterpiece in every frame, every performance, every absurd and glorious detail. It’s wicked, it’s wildly brilliant, it’s divine, it’s dazzling. A film to cherish, to worship, and to rewatch until the end of time.

Somedays I feel just like Anna, but instead of screaming like someone on the brink of death, I just smile and pretend it's okay.

I seeing the trailer for this in theaters and just… not getting excited. Well, now I’ve seen it. And yeah, it’s a great film. A solid 4 out of 5 stars, but even with that rating… I still feel like I wanted more.

Everyone’s been raving about Sinners, and I get it. It’s well made, beautifully shot, and etc. But for me, the film builds up so much only to deliver a resolution that’s just... fine. Good, but not…

It Feeds? It Ate!
A solid horror film with a great performance by Ashley Greene (forever Alice Cullen in my head). Even though it borrows from familiar sources, it still manages to feel fresh in the way it builds and handles the supernatural.
One thing that really worked for me was how grief — an overused theme in recent horror — stayed in the background just long enough to let the suspense and horror take center stage, only to then…

RIP Tony Todd
Final Destination is something I don’t even think is that good — and yet I keep coming back for the gore and the suspense. It's the same tired formula we've seen for five movies already, and if they made a seventh, I'd still watch it out of pure curiosity.

But that same curiosity would definitely kill me — with rage or disappointment — because of how things play out and how unbearably annoying or dumb the characters…

So boring and bad! Thirty minutes in and I already wanted it to be over. The characters are either annoying or completely flat. Yet another example of horror trying way too hard to reinvent itself — or worse, trying to redo something that was already done better decades ago.
If a bomb had dropped at prom and killed everyone, it would've been more entertaining.
Loved the music tho.
