Went in with low expectations, still ended up disappointed. No way Karthik said this was a love story in his interviews. Just the romantic leads standing next to each other for 45 minutes, felt nothing. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly feel the first half of this film is just as good as OK Kanmani. Loved every bit of it. I’m really impressed by the way they subverted audience expectations by dropping a mediocre trailer, and I think that’s why the film worked so well for me.
