Saw a tax day screening of this with so many dads. They loved it. I loved it. Another step toward Jon Bernthal movie domination. Ben Affleck line dancing is really important to me.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I wanted to like this. Keke Palmer is great, but so much of this didn’t work. The beginning is way too slow. The scene where she’s finally understanding what happened to her is too fast somehow? We didn’t get enough about Frank to understand his issues.
I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be unbelievable. Frank’s cool with having law enforcement show up while Paul is tied up and shot?
One of the few moments that did work for me: when the kid told Alice he was hungry at the diner and she said “I’m not here to serve you.”
