This is a standout short film featuring incredible performances and tack sharp writing. The 32 minute runtime flies by.
Darkly funny, beautifully shot, and one of the best uses of silence in a movie since Oppenheimer. Kieran Culkin is a standout, creating a character that is a show-don't-tell representation of wearing your heart on your sleeve and being authentic in sometimes hypocritical ways. It's no accident that Jesse Eisenberg's character ends the movie wearing red, a color only worn by his odd-couple counterpart the rest of the film. The storytelling with design throughout was masterful.
