Yeah this was a prisoner of its small budget unfortunately. 

The music is still great because Justin Hurwitz is a magician, and you can see some flashes of the following Chazelle masterpieces but I just couldn’t get into this at all. 

Very much so a little student film. Still love you Damien.

Really 3.5 but added the extra .5 star for personal reasons. Lovely.

Alfred Hitchcock is the godfather of anxiety inducing cinema and Rear Window is a prime example of that. Loved it. 

That set is fucking brilliant.
