Sometimes, human will must overcome the impossible

Hoyte van Hoytema solidifies himself as one of my favorite cinematographers of all time. I mean wow this thing is absolutely gorgeous… best comparison in of color grading, lighting, and contrast I can think of is Blade Runner 2049. Not to mention this mf was the cinematographer on Interstellar so yea I think he knew what he was doing

One of the best examples of a sequel better than the original

Maybe I’m biased because these films were coming out when we were growing up but damn… still holds up man. Apart from a few cliches, this one has many good things to be said about it. From the cinematography (ikr?) to Philip Seymour Hoffman to that IMAX aspect ratio switch, just so much cool shit to be had here
