"Best of" lists are everywhere, and every one seems to have one (myself included). With this list, I thought it would be more fun to broaden the scope of a "best of" and think about which films were likely to start more conversations in 2013. For me, movies are most exciting when you get into a heated discussion about quality, meaning, or even necessity.

That said, here are the movies that got me and my friends talking the most during 2013.
