There’s nothing I love more than watching shitty people get what they’re owed but, damn, the journey there was tough. Watching everything unfold had me feeling every emotion possible. The cinematography and colors were beautiful. One of the reasons I was so locked in was because of how appealing it was to watch.

Saw this with a packed crowd and it was a blast. The post screening Q&A with Emily Skeggs, Kyle Gallner, Adam Rehmeier, and one of the producers was even better.
The movie itself is funny as fuck and surprisingly heartwarming. Gallner and Skeggs bring such life to their characters.

I peeped the plague doctor in the background of episode 1 and immediately locked in for the whole series. I’d put it below The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher but it’s still great stuff from Flanagan and his regulars.
