There’s not a single thing about Day of the Dead that doesn’t own. The stakes are high, the kills are brutal, the gore and effects are top notch, the score is unreal, and there’s no nothing more satisfying than Captain Rhodes and his men getting their comeuppance. A great way to end this season of The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs!

What a visually beautiful but terrifying movie. The illusion Mima skipping around while real Mima runs and fears for her life is so fucking creepy. And the fucking screwdriver to the eye? Fuck, that was so brutal. Incredibly well done all around.

Deeply unsettling and disturbing. I loved every minute of it.

All I know is that this would KILL IT with the Exhumed Films Horror-thon 2am crowd.
