I had an incredible movie-watching year in 2024. As of the moment of completing this list, I have seen 84 movies released on 2024 -- the most I've ever seen. There are a lot of reasons for this. hips at OFS and Regal and Cinemark didn't hurt. The amazingness of my husband and his willingness to let me spend half of my life in movie theatres was also very helpful (and appreciated).
But the biggest reason is that I found my community of movie-enablers. Thank you, BRRR, for reinvigorating the social aspect of my movie obsession. I'm so glad I found a group of people who are game for anything and willing to take risks and each other's interests.…

This was such an odd movie year. I look at my top ten and feel like it's much more eclectic and bizarre than my list usually is. There are things missing that I'm REALLY surprised about, and things on there that I never expected to love. I love being surprised.
