all art is subjective and so in my subjective opinion i’m actually the only fairy tale authority on letterboxd and thus these are the only good fairy tale adaptations and the rest of you are wrong if you disagree with me

mainly only including films i’ve given a 5 or a 4.5 but some 4’s will be thrown in, it’s just whatever i think of to add.

there’s a lot of fairy tale/fantasy films i’d rec but these are clear adaptations of a single or few fairy tales, if a fairy tale film isn’t an adaptation even if i think it’s a banger you will not see it here simple as that.
