I first watched this movie in a first year film class. I my TA saying that Glenn Ford doesn’t matter, he’s just the guy they hired to stand next to Rita Hayworth. At the time I thought he was crazy, because it was clearly Glenn Ford’s movie.

This may be my most controversial film take but I still think Gilda is Glenn Ford’s movie.
