Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning

2025

★★★★½ Liked Watched

I really enjoyed The Final Reckoning very much.
Okay, a bit much explaining and backlashes from earlier movies, a little too little emotional (although I did have tears in my eyes at the end) and Nick Offerman's and Hannah Waddingham's roles are too small BUT the movie is visually great, the stunts are excellent (the last big stunt is one of my favourites), the set design is opulent and you can feel how much fun everybody especially Tom Cruise had…

The Wild Robot

2024

★★★★ Watched

If you want to get high on emotion than this is the right film for you. I am still in tears over the highly emotional and beautiful written and made "The Wild Robot". The characters, their building relationships, the humour and tragic are so well intertwined that it is just wonderful.

The Haunting of Bly Manor

2020

How could the wedding guests endure to hear such a long and boring story?

"Horrible" is probably the best word to describe this show. The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor are two ends of a scale. Also, it seems as if the people in charge had made up their minds…

Blue Eyed

1996

★★★★ Rewatched

Shows how and why racism works and what devastating effects it has.

Should be seen by everyone. Should be shown in schools or the experiment itself should be performed in schools and workplaces. All respect to Jane Elliott.
