Shout out to the guy in the middle of our cinema verbally reacting like it was an Avengers movie and the foldout couch was spiderman

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Looked pretty. I appreciated how the long takes and the performances added life and realism to the film, but I think that realism was all in service of nothing.
Vicky barely seemed like a character, had no agency. Only getting to the “I don’t know what I want” moment near the end of the film did something interesting come through, but even that could be seen as a cop out. “Directionless” characters can’t literally have no direction.
I liked some of the music, some of it looked nice, and Rory was an entertaining character, at least next to everyone else.
But this movie completely forsook the boxing for the most unconvincing love story and I have no idea what any of this is supposed to mean.
They loved throwing fights though, they couldn’t stop talking about throwing fights, they threw like six fights in this thing.
