Preet’s review published on Letterboxd:
"This is Wasseypur. Here, even a pigeon flies with one wing, and uses the other wing to guard his innocence."
While Part 1 introduced the world and set up the tone for the entire saga, Part 2 brings everything to a exciting and satisfying conclusion of the story. The story begins from the tragic climax of the first part and continues with the same tone of throughout the film keeps its realistic and raw approach, capturing chaos of the wasseypur and the unhinged nature of gangsters.
The story explores how revenge consumes people and how the cycle of violence only leads to more destruction. Three generations of men sacrificing their lives just to take revenge on one singular man. I finally understand now why this is considered as one of the best bollywood crime-film duology ever made.
