HAL’s review published on Letterboxd:
There’s so much sincerity and heart in this movie that you just don’t see anymore. So many quiet and slow moments, real visual storytelling heavy, you DEFINITELY won’t see that in a lot of superhero movies anymore. Lois has an inner monologue where she’s essentially reciting a poem, could you IMAGINE something like that being in the MCU or, hell, a snyderverse film? And on top of that, being able to take it seriously? Truth be told I can’t. But what I CAN imagine is living a life of luxury in Otisburg! Now that’s the dream!
