Possibly the worst comic book film that’s come out this century. The CG and cinematography are both abysmal, not to mention the over-editing during every action scene. Also, Anthony Mackie is an objectively bad actor.

A fun and original sci-fi drama with incredible acting performances and an original story-line. The narrative is quite gripping, but there are a few character arcs that feel out of place. Other than that, it was terrific.

I get that it’s a Barbie movie and I should be suspending disbelief, but it’s PG-13 and there were real world issues addressed, so at least write a script that doesn’t defy logic at every turn possible. 

Definitely fuck the patriarchy, but Barbie is overrated and underwhelming.
