The man with the most famous silhouette in history gets the biopic treatment, with Anthony Hopkins as Hitch and Helen Mirren as his wife Alma. The film covers the making of Psycho; a film that represented a risk for all involved, but obviously wound up being a classic. Hugh Grant subverts his image superbly in Heretic, as a seemingly amiable chap, clad in cardigan and glasses, who lets two young female Mormon missionaries into his home. At first he’s classic Grant; foppishly charming, slightly awkward at times, but the facade starts to slip. Why is the door locked? Where is his wife he keeps mentioning?
