the machinery, concrete, dirt and haze of all these works I rarely see be replicated in the y2k revival craze we've been in lately, and it feels like people forget the visual language of this era wasn't always super glossy and translucent, some of the same futurism was really gritty and earthy instead

every single one of these videos has been infinitely inspiring though, will rewatch all of them a million more times before I die

character designs are cute, was just struggling to find any info on this ova
was on a cartoon craze dvd despite not being a western cartoon and being much more recent than their usual line-up of 30s-50s stuff
doesnt help that theres a full oz anime and a separate movie(?) from around the same time, so tracking this one down is a little bit of a pain
glad it has a listing here
