An amazing movie that i feel like would be so much better on the second viewing tbh i didnt like first part THAT much but things started getting more and more intense, the atmosphere just starts creeping up on you and the slow pace actually makes sense later when you slowly start getting some answers. the main characters are incredible - there’s this weird connection between them like they’re kinda similar but also total opposites. I feel like the ending would probably be more clear on the second watch , we will see

Shoya is such a great character, went from bullying and harassing Shoko to being in basically similar position years later- he completely loses everything hes had and convinces himself that maybe he doesn’t deserve connection with people or forgiveness. His dynamic with Shoko is really well done because it doesnt happen instantly instead it takes some time…

What a masterpiece wow, the story is so good my eyes were glued to the screen throughout the whole movie and i went thru so many emotions while watching this film and im glad. definitely need to watch more anime movies because i loved everything about this and ESPECIALLY the cinematography, its genuinely one of the best looking movies ive ever watched plus the soundtrack is also really good. Im super glad they got that conclusion, for a sec i thought it was gonna take the other turn but im glad it didnt. Definitely recommend this movie to everyone
