the idea of evil dead is always more enticing than actually watching it but i forgot how monumental it actually was for the time.

i struggle to understand how they actually made this on such a small budget and how well it holds up, even being comparable to evil dead 2 in it's special effects despite evil dead 2 being a much larger budget.

without a doubt one of the most important american films to come out of the 80s…
