i honestly thought it was going to SUCK as i don't love the idea of art house horror, 2.5 hours long, co-opting the shiny glam Barbie aesthetic to "satirize" it but really glamorizing it... i had no plans to see it whatsoever. also i have no special love for techno/whatever that music was.
