Adam Curtis' stunning, sprawling documentary is essential viewing for anyone interested in why everything in the 21st century feels so unstable and confusing. Only flaw, for me, is that Curtis veers into intellectual contortionism in Part 6 when attempting to simplify Tupac Shakur's complex career to fit his own narrative. Nonetheless, the rest of the documentary is, to me at least, incredibly well-argued and intricately constructed.
I cannot wait for SHIFTY!
