I watched the Argento cut this time around. My last three watches were from the extra mall hour fan cut, so this is new Territory for me. After watching the aviator, I decided to rewatch hell’s angels. The story is standard of war films of its era: love triangles and boys being jolly under a time of war. And the acting is cheesy as well. The main highlight is the dog fight sequence. Seeing the bi planes maneuver and “shoot” at each other feels watching a Waltz in the sky. Kinda beatififul.
