what I liked about this film is it tangents and until the last half has a tenuous emphasis on narrative, instead opting for a more equivocal and meandering approach. A prefuse amount of this film is Elliot Gould smoking in the most rad way possible and talking about his adorable cat which is awesome and I could watch for an exorbitant amount of time. This is one of the most enigmatic films I've ever seen, it's tenuous connection to prose equivocates the whole movie resulting in a poetic oneiric story that's equally frustrating as it is compelling. The film explores two girls who has an impalpable connection to one another in an insoluble way. The camerawork and overall visual pallete really consolidate the films poetic language with some of the most gorgeous and emotionally evocative camera work in a film I've seen period. A film that is opaquely inscrutable and besmusing at times but a very beautiful and well crafted film
