What the hell are you guys talking about???
This was almost a great movie but just didn’t engage with the beautiful link between horror monsters and otherness in the way it should have. A Tarantino Once upon a time in Hollywood or Inglorious Basterds - esque ending where the klan are confronted with a mill full of vampires would have been quite the thing. This is just forgettable unfortunately. Played it safe in the most disappointing way. Not to mention the dodgy CGI and kitschy “blues”. Some great moments for sure but overall missed the mark.
