one of the most charming movies ever made i think. one of the ghibli movies i come back to the most, because there’s just no way to end this movie not feeling warm and encouraged.

Gonna have to have another watch to fully decide on this tone wise but this was oozing with texture. The performances were so top notch and that dance club number had me so floored. Sometimes I forget sometimes that Coolgler is a very emotional filmmaker, and theres a scene towards the end that actually made me tear up.
