A potentially great finale to the Rambo series is bogged down by choppy editing, weak dialogue and characters , and a montage as a final gut punch of how far we've fallen not just from First Blood but within 10 years. I wanted to love this movie, and I was left saying, "I could do this so much better." What a disappointment!

I absolutely adore this movie. But, it's genius isn't something one picks up on first glance. This movie is an anti-noir film of the highest order. It parodies the film noir genre and celebrates it in a way no other film can or would bother to try. Just shut your brain off, grab your bathrobe and abide in one my personal favorite movies all time.
