"Wrong Turn" kind of floats in that murky space between old-school, overused backwoods horror clichés and a modern-day cannibal picnic – minus the weird charm of vintage exploitation. It never really kicks into gear. The pacing's slow, borderline dull, and even when the hillbillies finally break out the bow and arrow, it's more of a shrug than a shock.
