I think John Mulaney perfectly summed up Marc Maron in this film..

Celebrity docs are usually filled with fluff but this is Maron at his most honest, worn down, and conflicted with life. Seeing this after his recent announcement of WTF ending after 16 years couldn’t have felt more obvious of a decision in hindsight. Even when it gets real fucking bleak he’s still gonna have to find a way to laugh.
