I had accidentally bumped into this film many years ago now and always wondered what it would feel like to experience it in the cinema, and now I can finally say that I have felt that indescribable feeling of being taken away into the lives of wonderfully written and played characters; my first Wim Wenders film that perhaps helped me to understand what I look for from movies and what I still want to feel when I watch new ones.

Every 6 months my brain reminds me that I have to rewatch this stuff🐈‍⬛

I believe that the foundation for a sci-fi film is to build a reality that can appear solid and believable; I don't want to have to think that what I'm watching is crumbling because of the lack of care devoted to its creation. Mickey 17 is everything sci-fi should be from a technical and artistic standpoint, glad that good works pop up now and then to enjoy.

People whining following a chain reaction based on nothing, since when did a person having his own thoughts about a work become out of the ordinary? A story told in an original way and distinct from everything else, I can't give a damn about who directed it.
