I don’t know how they made a movie about racing to ‘lose’ your virginity come across as delightful and wholesome but they did a damn good job. This movie was the perfect mix of comedy and heart.

ittedly, I thought this was going to be a sapphic film at the beginning and I got a little excited. It’s a shame Kristy McNichole wasn’t in more things, because she was phenomenal in this.

Also my mind almost exploded when I found out ‘Sunshine’ is Miranda from Sex and The City

Thank god they left the tape deck and the Creedance!!

Why the hell  did I hold out so long. This is Immediately one of my all time favorites

Items to note:
This film features the most mustachioed Sam Elliot that Hollywood has ever seen.

Walter is the friend we don’t want but also need.

Marmots and ferrets are, in fact, different.

Rugs are what really tie a room together…

“I still don’t understand the play.”
“Doesn’t matter, just keep telling the story”

Beneath Wes Anderson’s signature style is a quiet, powerful message: sometimes we have to stop searching for meaning and just keep going. Asteroid City is poignant, strange, and unexpectedly comforting—a gentle reminder that endurance through life’s trials can be enough.

“They don’t want me on stage. “
“Then they must be delighted with your career “

I was hoping for more dark British humor and  less alcoholism but this a good watch and much deeper than I expected it to be.

“PLEASE! STOP! SCREAMING!”

Anora feels like three different films in one, seamlessly shifting from a debauched hangout movie to a dark comedy before landing in full-fledged drama, and I loved every second of it. The standout moment for me was the intense, darkly comedic home invasion scene, which had me cringing and cry laughing in equal measure. This was my first Sean Baker film, and I was blown away by his talent. The entire middle section is pure chaos, and…

“On the run from Johnny law... it ain’t no trip to Cleveland”
Damn, what a great debut! This is honestly one of his funniest.
