Genuinely think this is a masterpiece. So many absurd throwaway jokes that feel Gerwigian & Baumbachian but also feel like something distinctly new and different for them. The look and vision and tone is so solid. I know this gets accused a lot for being a little women studies 101 but 1) there’s value in that especially for the thousands of children who saw it 2) I think it’s way more nuanced about gender politics and identity than it gets credit…
