Such a kind of science fiction you should watch!
I love how they developed the characters. How they attempt the detail of 1920's. How they put a song. I think this is another way to telling the science fiction without say it science fiction.

Most of people talk it's too hard to understand. But it actually a really simple movie. A boy make some mistake in the past, Taku is people pleaser, but in the end they all got peaced.

So i don't know why people rate this film so bad, the story is easy, music so nostalgic, and the art not really bad tho. But yes, people have freedom to make assumptions.

(Btw, it's my comfort movie. But i need to replaced it from (fav movie letterboxd) because the background isn't in the night :)

Historical movies are not for everyone, at least for me.

I feel that this film has a good story because it is taken from a true story, of course it is not easy to summarize a story and then retell it in the form of a film with a duration of approximately 2 hours. I think it needs further exploration with visual depictions that match the movie shown, like what Oppenheimer gave. But the movie is more than 20 years old, so that's okay.
