Feel like I’ve just been pranked, but I’m glad the American Sniper baby is still getting work. I don’t even know where to begin with this. You’re watching a film that’s so clearly made by a man with a singular vision and total control over every tiny detail… but that man is also utterly insane and the result is… uh… a fever dream of a movie. It all feels very theatrical, I’d be curious to see something like this on stage, but it does something so absurd (that you’ve almost definitely heard about online already) that makes it an absolute must see in a cinema. Everyone gasped. I knew it was coming and it still took me by surprise. Definitely check this out. You might hate it. But definitely check it out.
