compelling and interesting way to tell a heist story in such a naturalistic way, very similar to night moves (2013). while not apparent at first, i read this as an overt political statement condemning individualism, with such a striking final shot of overt authoritarianism becoming the formative thesis of the film. o'connor's performance is brilliant

campion has such a immensely poetic visual language, it truly does feel as if its an adaptation of some prose ridden classic

This movie is steak, not one that you would buy in an expensive restaurant, but one that you would buy in a supermarket and that you would cook on a barbeque. The steak is also cooked at medium-done, so it tastes alright, but nowhere near as good as a medium rare, and due to the price of the steak, it is a little bit chewy at points, but the seasoning mostly masks the taste of the pretty medium to low range priced steak. Also middle aged men love steaks and they will love this movie.
