Was interesting to see A24 make a film aimed at a younger audience whilst still prioritising the aesthetic and atmospheric aspects of the film. For a lot of people, the pacing didn't work and I do wonder how well a child would cope with the slow, atmospheric nature of the film. It was a fairly familiar story, but a meaningful and important one. Some good acting performances too.
