Daredevil’s back, baby, and this time, he’s swinging into a whole new era! It’s the same ol’ Matt Murdock, but with a fresh coat of darker, more dramatic paint. These first two episodes waste no time throwing us into the action, even though the ride’s a bit bumpy in spots. The pacing? Not great. The connection with the previous seasons? Kinda shaky. They could have done more to bridge the gap. But if you had fun watching this, you goddamn right for it! let’s get started! 🧑‍🦰 #hell'skitchenreport

Episode 1 – A Rushed but Thrilling Return🌇
First off, that opening score? Barely five seconds in, and it already hits hard. Instant mood setter, and you can feel the story heading into dark territory instantly (and, spoiler alert, that’s exactly where it goes). The action’s brutal, the Murdock senses are dialed in, the pace is insane, and that fight scene? Chef’s kiss! It’s like a caffeine rush fast and frenetic, but a bit too all over the place.

Then… Foggy. Gone. Just like that. This fast? I was really hoping for a more longer reunion moment before they took him out, but nope, straight to the grave or not 🤫🤔. It could’ve hit harder if we had a little more time to feel the weight of it. And honestly, with all the emotional baggage Matt carries, his guilt over Foggy’s death could’ve been so much more of a gut punch. Speaking of guilt, I think it explains why he doesn’t go to church anymore. In his eyes, he’s unworthy of God. It’s a small detail, but it makes sense.

Visually, though? It's ight. The lighting really needs work. Give us more visual on those Daredevil scenes, please! 🙏 We need to see the fights better Some of those dark scenes look great, but others? Just muddy. The CGI doesn’t help it either it’s like your phone’s front camera trying to smooth out your face… just pretend it didn’t happen. 🧑‍🦯

On the plus side, the score is a banger. It cranks up the tension especially when Fisk walks in, clearing the whole damn room with just his presence. That man does not need to raise his voice to make you sweat. Overall, this episode feels cramped, like they were rushing to fit everything in (probably because of the half reset of the show.) But hey, at least the action delivers, and Cox still nails Matt’s emotional depth, even if the script’s trying to cram everything into the first few minutes.

Also, shoutout to Daredevil finally doing something with those clubs. It’s about time we get more than one swing in! 🤸

Episode 2 – A More Measured Approach 🌃
Alright, now we’re settling in. Episode 2 slows things down, letting the city—aka New York—breathe a little. The BB Report segments are a nice touch, showing civilians reacting to the chaos like it’s just another Tuesday in Hell’s Kitchen. The city almost feels like its own character, and I’m all in for that. 🏙️

Too bad some of the dialogue’s kinda dry in this one. It’s like toast you left in the toaster just a bit too long. Not inedible, but lacking that snap we got in the older seasons. And speaking of older seasons.. the connection is weak. They could’ve done way more to make this feel like a true continuation rather than a soft reset.

Visually? It’s a mixed bag. I miss the colors. The daytime scenes sometimes look like someone turned the saturation all the way down. Maybe it’s an artistic choice? But it just looks… gray. The night shots, though? Gorgeous. This is the Daredevil we need him in the shadows. And when Matt uses his hearing abilities? 👂 That zoom effect makes you feel like you’re hearing every heartbeat in the city. Pretty dope. 😎

And then there’s Fisk, Daniel Blade, and their dynamic. That is something I want more of.

Fisk carries this quiet menace. In clear he doesn’t need to say much for everyone to know he’s already won the room, like the whole room is holding its breath when he walks in. Fisk is as terrifying as ever, and Daniel Blade? He’s got potential.👔

And of course, the fight scene at the end? Chef’s kiss again and again. Nothing more to say.. just perfect. That’s the kind of action that makes you jump out of your seat. Pure Daredevil magic. 👊💥🩸🦴

Final Thoughts:
The show looks stunning at times, but sometimes it feels like they forgot to give it a distinct style. Daytime scenes just exist most of the time, with no real color choices setting the tone. At night, though? That’s when it shines.

The score? Fantastic. Sound effects? Perfectly on point. The pacing, though? Not the best. Some moments feel rushed (Foggy deserved more), and some scenes drag (Episode 2’s dialogue, I’m looking at you). But Matt is still Matt, and Fisk is still Fisk. That’s what keeps me hooked.

Hoping for stronger storytelling in the next episodes something that reaches that Netflix S3 level. And please, for the love of Daredevil, just turn on a damn light in some of these scenes! 🙏

But hey, overall? I’m here for it. 🔥

Let’s just hope the dialogue picks up, or we might need a Daredevil-sized energy drink to get through it. 🍹

Alright, I'm back and I finally sat down and finished Daredevil after Netflix yeeted it off their platform last time. But hey, what better excuse to catch up than Marvel bringing it back with a soft reboot ?

Quick thoughts:
▪ Season 1 (8.3/10): Solid origin story. Matt’s journey is compelling, and the world-building is strong. Episode 7? Daredevil absolutely whoopping that old man was unintentionally hilarious. 😂

▪ Season 2 (8.4/10): The Punisher arc? Peak. The rest? Kinda messy. Elektra’s storyline drags, but overall, I still prefer this season over the first. (Frank Castle carried fs🔥)

▪ Season 3 (8.9/10): Daredevil at his absolute BEST tight story, real stakes, and fight scenes that go hard-

Final ranking: S3 > S2 > S1. If you haven’t seen it yet, now it's the time. Also, Matt really bullied a guy into making him a suit? “You want a suit like Fisk?” Bro, just wanted to live !😆

A Chill Ride Through a Cat’s Mind 🥭
Flow: the art of pretending you're productive while your brain is just chilling in a hammock. And honestly? That might just be the perfect way to describe this film.

This one’s got that vibe —soft, surreal, and oddly hypnotic. The capybara? My zen master. The cat statues, the history behind the house and interesting buildings? A mystery left to the imagination. Hidden meaning, Symbolic details or a clue to something deeper? Either way, it’s there for a reason.

What we do know is that watching this felt like stepping into a dream. The animation sketches show just how much care went into the details, making every frame worth pausing. And let’s be real, I was itching to see the cat eat. But does it ever? That’s for you to find out.

Then there’s the way characters clash —not in a loud, dramatic way, but through tension that lingers in the silence. Every interaction feels layered, like there’s more being said beneath the surface. The cat, the other animals, the world around them —it’s all connected, yet fractured in a way that keeps you thinking. Where does the civilization go? Why did the house owner was so obsessed with the cat? The answers aren’t handed to you, but that’s what makes the experience so engaging.

Watched it twice, and I’d do it again. Something light, full of tenderness, and just the right amount of weird. Did I like it? You gad damn right I did!

The Rebirth of the God of Thunder 🥭
This is pure fun from start to finish. Taika Waititi swoops in like a superhero foster dad, completely revitalizing the MCU. He takes Thor to a whole new level and delivers one of the best MCU scores (top 4, for sure).
Was this a game-changer for the MCU?
YOU GODDAMN RIGHT IT WAS !

The look of Sakaar’s neon-lit world is a bold shift from the usual Asgardian golds, with Waititi embracing an ‘80s arcade color palette. The retro aesthetic, funky music, and those little teases (Thanos’ gauntlet in Odin’s vault?) are just chef’s kiss. Hulk fighting that giant fire monster? If you didn’t clap at that, we can’t be friends. Also, why does Hulk sound autotuned?? We’ll never know I guess, but it worked for me. 🤷

The score? Epic retro vibes. Imagine if Stranger Things, Dune, and Rick and Morty all tried to throw a party –no one knows how they got there, but somehow it works and everyone’s having a blast.

—10/10 for rock-solid vibes—

Chris Hemsworth brings his best performance as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie is the badass we needed, and Jeff Goldblum..Well, let’s just say he’s Jeff Goldblum in all his chaotic glory. Seriously, does he even act, or does he just exist in this movie? Hela was great –she wasn’t overused in the middle of the movie, but that actually worked better for the story itself imo, And Let's not forget Korg tho he's one of the funniest MCU characters, no doubt about it.

Overall Thor: Ragnarok is an MCU triumph, balancing humor, heart, and cosmic chaos. If you want a superhero flick that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still delivers epicness, this is the one. Definitely my favorite MCU Rewatch movie so far.

First off, I feel like this movie had so much more potential to give. It started strong, had that well written series vibes in the beginning.
And I was hooked! But then, around the 40minute mark, it just lost me.. The story forgot to make me care.

Visually, though? Marvel popped off!
Easily one of their most creative use of CGI and so many stunning scenes like the 'Open your eyes' and many others.
That Everest scene? Was wildly funny.
—She really put him on Mount Everest just like that 🤣

Anecdote Time: Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One sparked some controversy since the character is usually Tibetan in the comics, but Marvel went for a more international vibe.

In another note, the score was solid, and honestly overall, this didn’t feel like an MCU movie at all. It was a refreshing vibe.
But then come the villain..
Meh ~
Zero impact. 🫤
Even the slow-mo ending couldn’t save it not even if it played Bohemian Rhapsody in the background.

Overall it was not a bad movie but a good movie with more potential imo. My Memorable line: "Try me, Beyoncé!"

Just rewatched Spider-Man: Homecoming
So let's get into it!!🔥

(spoiler ahead)
First off, this isn’t your typical skyscraper-swinging Spider-Man.
Nope.
Here we’re talking backyard fences, failed parkour, and trampoline shortcuts. Peter’s basically a clumsy neighborhood menace and I'm here for it.
That backyard scene where's he's chasing vulture's minions? Pure cinema. He absolutely destroyed every neighborhood backyards in his way x'D

That being said we have to consider that it’s more of a coming-of-age comedy than a superhero epic. Half the movie is Peter fumbling through high school:
▪ Schools Party? Dips at the first sign of trouble.
▪ Awkward hallway exchange? Check.
▪ Homecoming dance? Rom-com vibes until it turns into Fast & Furious: Meet My Date Villain Dad.

And that Captain America scene saying, 'So... you got detention.' iconic.

Now, let's talk about that SUIT..
Tony Stark went full upgrade mode with AI and gadgets. Cool, sure, but doesn’t it kill the DIY vibe? Give me broke Peter with a busted hoodie and duct tape or something with less gadget AT LEAST.. The design is great tho, love what they did with the eyes.

Then there’s the car scene..

PURE CHILLSS-
Michael Keaton was terrifying. Peak villain energy was here.

And can we talk about Peter putting his date’s dad in jail? Thanksgiving’s gonna be real awkward. “Hey, that time you destroyed my family?”

The action? Solid, but I miss the raw, bloody brawls from the Tobey days. Those punches hurt. Here? It’s a little too.. PG.

Also, Ned loudly calling Peter Spider-Man in the middle of school? Nobody heard that? Sure..

Finally, Peter rejecting Tony’s offer at the end? Big flex moment. “Nah, I’m good.” More of that Peter, please. You don’t need a hightech uncle Ben 2.0, you got this!
Hyped for Spider-Man 4! Hope the rumors aren't true and they're going for a more street level route for this one.

Oh, and best line delivery? Vulture’s “Hot dog” No debate. Overall i give it a 🥁...

The Start
It was a pretty intense movie experience for me at the time.

I was intrigued.

Long before there was even a teaser for it.

Theory videos, leaks popping up, people acting like they had the script in their back pocket, and everyone talking about it non-stop started showing up on my timeline..

I was hooked.
I liked the other MCU Spidey movies, but this one was different.
I wasn’t really watching many movies at the time — maybe once every 2 months.

(My movie-watching schedule was like a cameo, showing up just enough to remind you it’s there)

I was in the spiral now.
The hype kept growing day by day.
When it finally dropped..

I couldn’t catch it in theaters at that time..

Sooo I had to wait 6-7 months to watch it on my TV — basically, I was in a long-distance relationship with the movie, like Cooper waiting for Murph to send that message.

And then... boom!
I watched it and..
It was great!
I was beyond hyped at first, but the movie still managed to exceed my expectations.

I was satisfied.
It was a great experience, and the nostalgia hit hard. Plus, the buildup over nearly a year felt like a slow, hyped-up rollercoaster ride that was almost too perfectly timed... like the ticking of time in a fifth-dimensional bookshelf.

But then came the rewatch...
And yeah, it didn’t hit the same way.
First watch?
I’d rate it an 8.8/10 (pure excitement).

After rewatching it, though, it drops to a 7.1/10.
It’s tough to rate it because the initial hype really carried it. I see this movie more as a unique experience that needs to be experienced in the moment, rather than something meant for multiple rewatche.

Still, I’ll give it a solid score for how much it stucked with me at the time.

The worst of them all.
Where to even begin with Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey?

It’s an idea that could’ve been funny, disturbing, or even entertaining in the right hands. But instead, it’s a dumpster fire of wasted potential..

The movie takes a beloved children's character, transforms him into a slasher villain, and somehow makes the whole thing painfully boring.

The plot is paper-thin: Pooh and Piglet go rogue after being abandoned by Christopher Robin, and they go on a killing spree. Unfortunately, it’s not the campy fun you'd expect.
The acting is awkward, the pacing is agonizingly slow, and the dialogue is as cringe-worthy as it gets. But perhaps the most unforgivable part is the lackluster gore. Despite the title promising blood and mayhem, the kills are uninspired, and the practical effects look more like a bad Halloween store prop than anything remotely realistic.

It’s not even so bad it’s good –it’s just bad.
The lack of self-awareness or any real effort to embrace the absurdity of the premise makes this feel more like a cash grab than an actual attempt at entertainment.

In short, this movie is an absolute disaster, and the only horror here is how much time you’ll waste watching it.
Worst movie I’ve watched, and I’d like to find others like it for torture purposes.

▪ Iron Man 3 is basically Tony Stark vs. his worst enemy: 𝙖𝙣𝙭𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮 (oh, and also some fireproof yoga enthusiasts).

▪ The movie kicks off strong with Tony dealing with post-Avengers trauma, juggling panic attacks and DIY suit upgrades like a true genius billionaire.

▪ The action is solid, the suits are everywhere, and while the final battle feels like a chaotic fireworks show, it’s still a blast.

▪ For me, this was the best Iron Man—I really enjoyed the character development and seeing Tony grow beyond the suit.

Alright, everybody, hope y’all had a great day!

I finished rewatching Black Panther yesterday, so here’s my review:

First off, RIP to Klaue and Killmonger..
Klaue is such an underrated character—Andy Serkis didn’t miss.
He made the most of every second he was on screen and gave us a Electrical and memorable performance

Killmonger? Truly iconic.
From his theme music to his nonchalant attitude and backstory, he’s easily in the top 10 MCU villains who leave a lasting impression, and we know there are ALOOOT of them..

Let’s talk about the music that slapped harder than T'Challa in trial combat…
It was an epic tribal fest! From the traditional African influences to the modern trap beats, it perfectly captured the vibe of Wakanda and was overall one of the best marvel soundtracks.
Ludwig Göransson really outdid himself on this one.
(Favorite track: “𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙣 𝙄𝙩 𝘼𝙡𝙡” – chills!)

Favorite quote? Gotta be when Killmonger hit T’Challa with, “𝘠𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘕𝘢𝘩, 𝘐’𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨” ABSOLUTE chilllsss..

On another note, there were a lot of fight scenes in this movie, but honestly, most of the choreography didn’t stand out too much. It wasn’t terrible, but it could’ve used a bit more spice, imo (the cgi in that one scene 🤢)

To wrap up, the story was cool, and the cast did great. Nothing more to say beside RIP CHADWICK

While Vol. 1 felt fresher, this was a lot of characters and stories and overall a fun sequel.

Alright, here’s a late review for Nosferatu.

First off, let’s talk about Nosferatu himself...

The acting and makeup were impressive. Bill Skarsgård was just unrecognizable, from the look to the voice!
However, I was expecting the design to be more similar to the old classic look
(they wanted to do their own thing, and that’s fine).

That said, the new design still works; it’s an interesting mix between a vampire and a decaying corpse.
It’s like he couldn’t decide whether to feast on blood or brains and just said, “I’ll take the buffet option.”
He could scare a human but other vampire too lol, Even Dracula would probably say, “Dude, you okay? You smell like old grave dirt.”

Aside from that, the sets were very nicely done, the cinematography was really good, and the aesthetic remained consistent throughout the film. It really helped me immerse into this world.

However, I wasn’t really into the first half of the movie.
For me, it felt a bit flat, and the dialogues seemed off at times. Also, this movie really lacks to make Nosferatu have those iconics moments... We got the shadow of the hand across the city scene, but besides that, not much stood out.

And for "Nosferatuah" I give it an ... 🥁

▪ Luke Glanton is like the cooler version of Driver. Just swap the car for a motorcycle, and there you go! A more rugged, punk, raw character.

▪ One of my favorite Ryan Gosling roles so far. They absolutely nailed with that look that screams troublemaker who wouldn’t think twice about turning a bad idea into a rush of adrenaline!
Imagine watching this movie after "Lars and the Real Girl" —Ryan definetly got some range.
(Only watched 6 of his movies so far, working my way through!)

▪ Other than that i really enjoyed watching this story unravel —the way toxic actions from the past continue to ripple into the present and affect the different characters, I also appreciated the cinematography —the subtle camera movements that added this natural/authentic feel, almost documentary-like at moments, or the intense shaking during more dramatic moments.(on the glanton story part)

▪ This movie at moments felt so real it was like you’re right there in some scenes.. Until you realize you’ve been staring at the screen for way too long and now your eyes are watering..👀

▪ The flow does get a bit uneven toward the end, though. You’ll need some patience with the unconventional storyline —it’s like three movies stitched together, and one of them is Glanton’s son trying to outdo his dad’s bad decisions by trying to kill a state senator candidate. Still, it didn’t bother me too much.

▪ The character shifts and how they’re handled make this film unique, giving it deeper emotional impact. Expectly, with these soundtracks that keep pulling you in and setting the tone perfectly throughout the movie.

▪ In the end, this movie is like a wild ride on Luke Glanton’s motorcycle —thrilling, a little messy, but absolutely worth it.
