This was my first viewing since release. I wanted to see if my opinion on it would change after watching Andor. Gotta say, all my problems still stand.

I'm a little unsure what to make of this movie. Like, it's obviously hilarious. So many good bits - the toad sequence is an all timer. But I have a really hard time watching this guy who is so desperate to be liked by anyone in his life constantly push everyone away. It's an exaggerated version of a real desperation that I think a lot of people are familiar with. And the combination of something so silly with pit of your stomach reality is tough to swallow for me. I want to laugh at Craig but my heart kinda just breaks for him instead.
