Can this girl catch a BREAK!?

It just wasn't even remotely believable. The cat and mouse game had too many rounds. It stopped being tense and started sowing shock that they would keep going. I couldn't find myself rooting for her anymore, I just wanted the movie to end. Whoever had the upper hand at any given moment after the third or fourth escape gone awry, I was cheering them on so this movie would END!!!

It was well-lit for…

It was good! A few really spectacular moments, a few places it dragged. If you like Tim Robinson you'll probably like this movie. If you don't, you won't.

Some satisfying "There it is!" moments through the third act, the only funny drug trip scene I've ever seen, and an absolutely crushing descent into madness. This movie is tearing a hole in your face to make sure you get rid of the pimple. You're in too deep to quit, you know you should but you can't. It's very very bitter and horrifying. I enjoyed it, but it's certainly not for everyone.

YEAH!!!

Tight, sharp, terrifying. Cooler delivers a monster movie for the ages, demanding the viewer's full attention.

Who is your family? What is freedom? Grappling with heavy questions, the movie plays with expectations and presuppositions, yet feels satisfying without spilling into gratuitous territory. It is not a happy story, nor is it overwhelmingly painful. It's all about what's real, and yet the film itself is extraordinary and fantastical.

The soundtrack and score are woven so beautifully and seamlessly throughout the plot that you truly can't tell whether it should count as a musical, but you're certain it's a phenomenon. Please watch this.

YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

John Malkovich throws himself into this role phenomenally. For an actor I consider to be relatively same-y in much of his work, he brings such depth and dynamism to a fascinating film. His performance is nuanced and captivating, a truly genius work that merits attention and accolades the character himself could only imagine. His aim is ambitious and he delivers without a misstep.
