Nailed it. Captures the 80s classic perfectly. Wait is Richard Linklater one of my favorites?

The dia this movie was by far my favorite thing. I think you could put almost every line in quotes and people would be like… whoa. Clearly a lot of thought out into this and it plays with the well renowned college professor’s household. A little over the top, but obviously intended.
Where the movie lost me was more in the second act, after the disaster sort of fades in the past. It was such a crazy build up,…
As I watch this movie more and more, it climbs my list of not only favorite movies but favorite Tarantino films. The ode to 'Old Hollywood', and the summer of 1969 is an immaculate snapshot of life in the moment, full of long shots to immerse the audience in the time. The story keeps every scene different from the last, but following the progression of Cliff and Rick as they become the heroes that saved a turning point in American, and even Cinema, culture.
The commotion and unscripted dialogue plays so well, I want more movies like this. The Safdie brothers didn't fail in Good Time, and neither here. Same feel of pure anxiety and stress, as Adam Sandler is such a hopeless gambling addict every decision makes us pull our hair out but not to the point where we would doubt his thought process. ing cast does a really cool job of interacting with him, while knowing and clearly viewing him as a mad gambler who, thought successful, is frankly an idiot.
