Do you know that one Family Guy skit where Peter reveals he doesn't care for the Godfather? That's essentialy me with this film. I did not care for The Outsiders.

Having phenomenal cinematography doesn't automatically make a film good. Bad acting, lackluster script, unlikeable characters, non-existent chemistry, a truly god awful ending, all this makes this film so difficult to actually finish. Classic example of all style no substance.

I was expecting this to be utter trash, but I ended up being honestly surprised by how much fun I had with it, but let's be fr it's pretty obvious why it's considered a bad film, the main message is literally that human greed is so horrid it deserves divine punishment, combine that with a majority chinese cast and you end up with the average american's worst nightmare and if you think I'm exaggerating feel free to check the reviews calling this film C anti capitalism propaganda
