I have never seen anything this cool

When I left the theater, this movie felt like a scathing critique of how egomaniacal and weird journalists can be in their drive to “get the story” that it blurs their own morals and ethics. Garland, however, has been saying that he actually wanted to pay tribute to old-school journalists and their pursuit of “objective” truth.
Looking back now, I’m not sure he was trying to provoke that reaction, or whether I was actually projecting my own dismay at the industry…
Ultimately, I’m not sure what this movie was trying to say about journalism? If anything at all
Either way, holy shit! It rips
