There’s not really anything else I can say about this movie that I haven’t already said, if you know me you know that this basically my favorite movie of all time. But what I can tell you is that seeing this in theaters again I’ve finally recaptured the high I felt as an excited 5 year old in 2004 seeing this on release day with my father at the Regal Cinema next to Fenway Park. In the minority of the group of people I saw this with apparently but this really fucking worked for me. Yeah there’s definitely an issue with the pacing and it does feel longer than Oppenheimer and KOTFM but Joaquin’s performance kept me engaged through it all and I’m still on team Ridley after watching it.
