Every Which Way but Loose

★★★ Liked Rewatched

A classic case of 'there's no way this kind of film would get made these days'. It's basically Clint being a version of himself, travelling around in a pick-up truck with an Orangutan named Clyde, having fist fights to earn a few bucks. That's it. Would've loved to have been a fly on the wall when they pitched this script to the studio.
That being said. I love Clint, therefore this is an easy watch for me. I watching it growing up too, which adds a pang of nostalgia to the mix.

Resident Evil

2002

A product of it's time. Police Story 4: First Strike

1996

★★★ Watched

Textbook Jackie. Great fight choreography, charming lead performance. You know what you’re getting right out of the gate. If you want some mindless, fun action with a plot that doesn’t really need to be followed, as it’s your standard, good guy vs bad guy tropes, then you can’t really go wrong with this.

Best of the Best

1989

★★★ Watched

Classic 80’s martial arts action. Training montages, flashbacks and action set-pieces. Great Eric Roberts performance, and the end actually got me a bit emotional, which was unexpected!
